Yes, we are a fully licensed and insured company. Our team complies with all local and state regulations to ensure the safety and quality of our work.

No, North Carolina does not require a 3rd party home inspection. Once you get your certificate of occupancy(CO), your jurisdiction has signed off that its ready to move in.

However, a home inspection is highly recommended when buying a property. We identify potential safety issues, structural problems, or costly repairs such as faulty wiring or plumbing leaks. Even for new construction or ‘as-is’ homes, inspections can reveal defects that builders or sellers might not disclose.

We provide a non-biased assessment of your purchase.

Depending on how large the home is, it usually takes 3-4 hours once we start. Once the physical inspection is complete, North Carolina requires by law for you to have your inspection report within 48 hours. Most times, we deliver your report within the first 24 hours so you can move forward with closing/negotiations.

Begin by scheduling a free consultation with our team. We’ll discuss your ideas, budget, and timeline. From there, we can provide a tailored plan and estimate for your project.

Although it is a limited visual inspection, that doesn’t mean theres not a lot to inspect. We go over roof structure, electrical systems, siding, windows, doors, plumbing systems, HVAC, grading, floor penetrations, appliances, framing, insulation, exhaust fans and many more.

Everything will be gone over with a detailed report highlighting all aspects of the home.

We maintain open communication with our clients throughout the whole process. We are available to discuss any part of your report. Most times, a phone call will answer most questions but for something a phone call can’t fix, we can setup a time to meet and go over any questions/concerns you may have.

It depends on the project’s scope. For smaller renovations, you may be able to stay in your home with some inconvenience. However, for extensive remodels, it’s often more comfortable to find alternative accommodations temporarily.

We provide warranties on our workmanship and use high-quality materials with manufacturer warranties. The specific terms and coverage will be discussed and provided in your contract.

We offer various payment options, cash, check, or card. For home inspections, we are able to handle payment and all necessary signing of paperwork prior to start of inspection.
